Freedom’s goal is to keep our customers’ tank cars out of home shops and on the tracks while setting an industry standard for safety, quality and customer service.
An increasing need for crude oil railcar repair services in the Bakken Shale and Powder River Basin inspired us to open on-site repair shops at existing transload facilities in North Dakota, Wyoming and Iowa. Location is paramount to our success. We are based where our customers’ cars are loaded and unloaded each day, allowing us to diagnose a tank car’s problem immediately and perform the necessary repairs without sending the tank car to a home shop unless repairs beyond our capabilities are required.
Freedom Railcar’s dependable mobile repair services sets us apart from the competition. Our state-of-the-art mobile repair units travel directly to customers’ malfunctioning tank cars and are capable of performing repairs while the cars are still on the tracks. Mobile repair units are strategically located to ensure we average the shortest response time possible. View a map displaying the range of our mobile repair units.
